U13-17 Club Programs

U13-17 Club Team Program Details

  • For U13/U14 players, most players are quite busy with their school teams at this time of year, but we do have optional fall matches through Far Post. Recently, we have created U13/14 Coed teams in the Alliance League to allow us the most flexibility in creating a stable schedule and moving our teams into the best opportunities for good competition.

    FALL PROGRAMS LINK

For maximum flexibility, fall training and games are separate and both carry their own fees. Players can do training, games, both or neither.

For our U15/16/17 players, we do not offer anything, as players are in high school and should focus on their high school teams.

  • This is our indoor season at our home base, the Robert E. Miller Centre North at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction. The only thing that is mandatory is the team training session, with a number of additional opportunities each week that most players take advantage of. This allows the most dedicated players the opportunity to play 3-4 times a week, while also allowing some flexibility for those that play other sports.

**Boys:** Team training on Sundays, rotating time. Skills session Saturday morning for U13/14 players. Futsal Games Monday evenings (optional, but encouraged for session 1 and 2, mandatory and included in fees for session 3)

**Girls:** Team training on Sundays, rotating time. Skills session Saturday morning for U13/14 players. Futsal Games Thursday evenings (optional, but encouraged for session 1 and 2, mandatory and included in fees for session 3)

Program Outline

Our U13-17 club teams offer a vital opportunity for players to continue to develop at a level that will allow them to be successful. When we evaluate a player, we look at their trajectory and where we think they will be at 18 years old. Is the player a good listener and willing learner? Will they be a loyal and contributing member of the club? If the answer is yes, we want to keep these players in the club and help nurture them, as everyone develops at a different rate technically, tactically, and physically.

Far Post provides the same curriculum & instruction to club players as they do to premier. The only difference is that our club teams do not compete in the VT State Cup and travel out of state less.
