Todd Kingsbury ▾

Club Director Todd Kingsbury has been with Far Post Soccer Club since 2001, overseeing a period of transition and reinvention that has seen the club rise to new heights. Todd has instilled a set of values and expectations in all of his players that lead them to strive to constantly improve and find success on the field and in life. His first generation of players are now returning to serve the club in a variety of different ways, most notably many former Far Post players are currently on the coaching staff and two are on the Board of Directors. While seeking to develop the best possible soccer players in the state, Todd has also succeeded in helping mold some very impressive young men and women in all respects.

In his role as Club Director, Todd primarily focuses on the following:

  • Player Development: implementing the right training curriculum and game structure needed for our players to improve year in, year out.
  • Coaching Development: supporting our coaches and providing them educational opportunities to help them become more tactically astute and better teachers of the game.
  • Program Development: establishing and enhancing our various programs to supplement and improve the whole player experience.
  • Club Development: ensuring the proper management, increased financial stability, and continued growth of our non-profit organization.

Staige Davis ▾

Staige Davis will be serving as our U11-12 Director of Coaching. Staige will be focusing on helping players develop their technical foundation while improving their tactical decision-making. Furthermore, he will be working to develop specific technical skills that will be needed for the transition to 11v11 play.

Staige grew up playing for Far Post from the age of 9 until 18, winning 6 State Cup championships at the club. After graduating from Green Mountain Valley School, Staige returned to the club as a coach and has since been the head coach of several teams ranging from U10 to U18. In 2016, he spent 6 months in England on a coaching apprenticeship with League 1 club Crewe Alexandra, while playing semi-professionally for Buckley Town FC in Wales. After returning to Vermont, he attended Norwich University where he played for and captained the men’s soccer team. Staige then moved into a coaching role at Norwich where he currently serves as the first assistant for the program.

Shelley Forrest ▾

Shelley has been a part of Far Post Soccer Club since 2011. She started as a soccer mom, helped for 6 years as a team manager, and served for 4 years on the Board of Directors. She began her role as Head of Administrationin and Director of Operations in November of 2020. Shelley has spent her life working with kids as an elementary school teacher, substitute teacher and mother of two awesome sons. As administrator for Far Post, she is now in charge of clubwide communication, scheduling, tryouts, player registration, rosters & player cards, uniforms, tournament registration, Playmetrics and GotSport,sponsorships and fundraising.

Jared Cipriano ▾

Jared Cipriano will be re-joining Far post and serving as the U17-U19 Director of Coaching. Jared will work towards creating an environment where the clubs oldest players are challenged to compete at the highest level. He will be working closely with head coaches to develop training curriculums that prepare players both technically and tactically. Jared will work closely with Head of College Search Adrian Dubois to assist players looking to move on to the collegiate game.

Currently, Jared also serves as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Norwich University. Prior to Norwich, Jared was the Head Coach for Black Rock FC Girls Residential Academy at High Mowing School in Wilton, NH. Jared was responsible for all facets of the program, including college placements, training curriculum, travel management, and video analysis. Before moving to New Hampshire, Jared worked at Far Post for seven years in numerous roles as U13-U15 DOC, Head Coach, and Indoor league Manager. Jared also served as the first assistant for the Norwich University men’s soccer team and Saint Michael’s women’s soccer team. In addition, Jared spent a season at UVM as the Director of Operations for the men’s soccer team.

As an undergraduate, Jared was a Division III (DIII) student-athlete at Elmira College. He earned Empire 8 Conference All-Conference honors as a back during his senior year. Jared graduated with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Sociology. He earned his master's degree in Athletic Leadership with a concentration in Athletic Administration from Castleton University in 2019.

Jared grew up in Southern VT, where he played against Far Post as a youth player. He’s excited to be back at Far Post helping develop quality players here in Vermont. He holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) C License, United Soccer Coaches (USC) National Diploma, and USC Level 2 Goalkeeper Diploma.

Lee Williamson▾

​New to Far Post​ in 2021​, Lee Williamson will serve as the Director of Coaching for the U13 through U15 age groups as well as Head Coach of the 2009 & 2007 premier boys teams.​ In addition he will run the indoor Futsal League.​

Williamson, originally from Northern Ireland, moved to the US in 2014. He holds numerous Irish Football Association (IFA) coaching licenses alongside his USA coaching pathway credentials.
Lee worked with Nordic Soccer Club ​from 2014​-2021​ and ​he has ​also ​been ​coaching with the Vermont Olympic Development program since 2018.

Having worked and played in the youth game across Europe, he brings a wealth of technical and tactical knowledge to the game. Having played as an academy player (Trials) at Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton and Bolton and playing in international tournaments across Europe (Holland, France, England and Germany​)​ ​he has been very lucky to be among some of the best coaches and players at the academy/professional level. Williamson played club soccer for Crusaders (Irish Premiership) and also Co Antrim attending a number o​f​ select events and showcases overseas.

Personal Youth Level Highlights and Achievements: National Country Player of the Year award presented at national stadium (Windor park) in front of 20,000 people; 3 year Adidas sponsorship as an youth player U11/12-U14.

Lee's intensity and passion for the game is contagious and quickly spreads among his players. ​His ​philosophy is to ingrain a possession based, attacking style into ​his teams with a developed understanding of individual and team roles within the game to help prepare players for the next step in their player pathway.

Joey Cipicchio ▾

Joey serves as the goalkeeper coach for Far Post, bringing both his personal experience and professional education and training to the role. Joey also helps run the futsal league by assigning referees and maintaining the schedule.

Joey grew up in Columbus, Ohio playing club soccer for the Columbus Crew Soccer Academy. He graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School in 2014, where he was a four-year varsity player, earning second-team all-state honors as a senior. Joey continued his soccer career playing NCAA Division 1 soccer at Brown University, where he studied Neuroscience. While at Brown, he played for the semi-professional NPSL team, Rhode Island Red's, and held the record for most starts as a goalkeeper. Coaching Staff

Far Post prides itself on having the best coaching staff in the state. With 5 current college coaches, 2 former college coaches, 4 Varsity High School coaches, and 13 college players, and 8 former Far Post players on staff, it's easy to back up that claim.

 
 

John Antonucci ‣

John currently coaches the Far Post 2009 Girls Premier team and has been with the club since 2019. John has over 15 years of coaching experience. Before joining Far Post, he coached with Capital Soccer Club, the Williston Soccer Club, and internationally for Batey Libertad in the Dominican Republic. He has been playing soccer his whole life and currently plays amatuer soccer for Capital Soccer Club. He grew up playing for the Albany Alleycats and played college soccer at the University of Vermont. He enjoys watching his team and his own kids play at Far Post and loves helping young players learn the world’s greatest game.

Alan Brown ‣

Alan grew up in Newcastle, England, where the 3 major sports followed are football, football, and football (SOCCER!).

Alan grew up playing in the park outside of the famous Wallsend Boys Club that has spawned a few famous footballers in it's time (Peter Beardsley, Steve Bruce, Michael Carrick, Fraser Forster, to name a few!). In those days, playing was restricted to tennis balls and shirts as goals, anyone who had a ball was a star. Newcastle is a city that lives and breathes soccer.

Alan started coaching at a small school for expats in China before moving to the United States. As Alan's kids grew, he continued to help with their teams through the Williston Rec and town teams, until his son Max joined Far Post. Alan has been involved with the club ever since.

Zaf Bludevich ‣

Zaf has been a member of the Far Post coaching staff on and off since 1999. He has also assisted coaching soccer at Colchester High School and is currently one of the assistant coaches with the Rice Memorial High School Girl’s soccer team.

Zaf has been a member of the Saint Michael’s Athletic Department staff, coaching numerous sports and working with student athletes as the Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist for almost 40 years. He is currently coaching the 2011/2012 Girl’s Club team.

Stan Williams ‣

Stan has been with Far Post for several years and is currently the assistant coach of the 2007 girls team.

In addition to coaching for Far Post, Stan is the varsity girls coach at CVU. He has been coaching soccer in the area for over 20 years.

As a player, he played at both CVU and Hamilton College.

Stan lives in Shelburne with his wife and two kids - including daughter, Lily, who plays on the 2007 team.

Jed Sass ‣

Born and bred in White River Junction, VT, Jed spent the majority of his club soccer days with Upper Valley Lightning and played one season for nearby Nordic Soccer Club. Following graduation from Hartford High School in 2014, he attended Middlebury College where he was a member of the men’s soccer team and served as co-captain during his senior year.

Jed has since coached soccer at the Olé Football Academy in New Zealand and taught at a charter school in New York City before joining Far Post in fall 2020. He is happy to be settled in the Burlington area and eager to continue improving as a coach while sharing his love for the game with each player he works with at the club.

Nick Hasenecz ‣

Nick has been coaching club soccer for over 15 years and has been coaching with Far Post since 2013. He has also been fortunate to travel with two teams on the legendary Far Post Holland trips.

He began coaching in 2005 with the AYSO 1475 Arsenal in Chesapeake, Virginia. In July of 2012 he took his U10 girls team to the AYSO National Games in Tennessee, where they finished second overall. Soon after he was appointed the club's Head of Girls Travel and remained in that position until moving to Vermont in 2013.

Nick has his National D License from US Soccer, AYSO U16 Coaching Certification and has attended numerous Ajax and NSCAA training sessions.

Nick is married and has two children with his wife Janette. His daughter Julia played for Far Post and is now playing college soccer at Clayton State University in Georgia. His son Nate also plays for Far Post and is in the Boys Senior Academy. Since Jon Portman has left the club, Nick is now widely considered the best looking coach at Far Post.

Skyler Davis ‣

2021 finds Far Post excited to welcome back Skyler Davis in his coaching role for Far Post.

Skyler grew up playing for Far Post from 10 until 15 years old, winning 5 State Championships at the club. After graduating from Stratton Mountain School, Skyler was named to the US Ski Team and raced professionally at the World Cup level. After skiing, Skyler walked onto the University of Vermont Soccer Team and helped lead the Catamounts to NCAA tournament appearances, including an American East Conference title. During his tenure, he captained the team for two seasons. Skyler and his now-wife Elise moved to San Francisco, CA, for work. Both lived in SF for the past four years and recently moved back to South Burlington, Vermont!

Jason Revoir ‣

Jason grew up in Richmond, Vermont where he attended Mount Mansfield Union HS. At MMU, he played soccer, baseball and was on the nordic ski team. After high school, he attended the University of Vermont where he walked onto the Men's Soccer team and played for three years as a Catamount. He coached High School soccer at Mount Mansfield, and was an assistant coach and head coach for the Vermont ODP program for several years. After college, Jason and his now wife Jenn moved to Rhode Island for graduate school and returned to Vermont in 2004. They now live in Shelburne, VT with their two children, Ethan and Arabella, who both play for Far Post. He continues to play amateur soccer.

Lindsay Austin-Hawley ‣

Lindsay is currently the Head Women’s Soccer coach at South Burlington High School and has been coaching with Far Post since 2015.

Lindsay's passion for the beautiful game started while watching her older brother play for Far Post in 1997. She quickly fell in love with the game and joined Far Post at 7 years old. Lindsay played with Far Post for 11 years. She played on the women’s varsity team at Champlain Valley Union High School, earning the following awards; First Team All State player, First Team all Metro player, and Burlington Free Press First Team player. After high school Lindsay continued her soccer career playing at Division II Saint Michael’s College.

Lindsay continues her love for the beautiful game by helping youth players develop both the technical ability and sportsmanship needed to enjoy and succeed in soccer.

Reed Carr‣

Reed, a native of Williston, VT, rejoined the Far Post Staff in 2018 after a 12 year hiatus.

Reed joined Far Post at the age of 9, where he played from the 10s through the 18s. Reed played for CVUHS for 4 years, winning two D1 state championships. Reed went on to St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, where he played four years, co-captaining the program in his senior year. During his time with the program Reed earned Liberty League All-Academic honors three times, the Most Improved Player award 2007, and the Coach’s Award for dedication to the program 2009.

Reed began developing coaching skills as a FPSC camp counselor in high school, then coached and directed the FC Freeze winter training program at SLU. Reed graduated cum laude in 2010 with a combined major in Environmental Studies and Chemistry and a minor in Hispanic Studies.

After graduation, Reed moved to Washington D.C. where he began an IT career, and joined the coaching staff at Happy Feet and Legends Soccer Club in Ashburn, VA in 2012. After one year coaching travel teams and other programs with Happy Feet-Legends, Reed was promoted to Director of Rec Soccer in 2013, and continued to coach travel. Reed continued coaching in the DMV area, moving to Great Falls SC for 2013-2014, and then Vienna SC for 2015-2016. Reed specialized in working with U9-U12 boys and girls programs in that time. In 2014-2016 Reed also worked as an assistant coach for the Paul VI HS men’s soccer team in Fairfax, VA. In 2016 Reed returned to his hometown of Williston, VT to be near his parents and start a family.

Reed holds his USSF E License, and has completed certification through the Positive Coaching Alliance.

In addition to his work with Far Post, Reed is also an accomplished referee working many leagues throughout Chittenden County. Reed is a fan of many teams in the EPL and Spanish Primera and enjoys skiing, karate, ultimate frisbee, hiking, and spending time with his wife and son.

Cory Payson ‣

Cory is originally from Central New York. He attended SUNY Brockport where he played soccer for two seasons. After moving to Vermont, he started the Varsity Boy's Soccer program at Winooski High School. He remained as the coach there from 1996-2009. In 2010, he was hired to be the Varsity Girl's Soccer coach at Milton High school where he remained until Spring 2017, winning 4 state championships during this time. Cory was hired as the South Burlington HS Varsity Girls' Soccer Coach starting with the Fall 2017 Season.

Coach Cory came to Far Post in 2013 and currently works with the boys in the U10 Program. He holds the NSCAA National Diploma, the Goalkeeping Level 2, and a variety of special topics diplomas from the NSCAA.

Emily Jones ‣

Emily was born and raised north of Boston, where she attended and played soccer early on until her freshmen year of college. Emily started coaching with Far Post in 2019 assisting with the juniors and U10s. She has been the head coach of the 07/08 Girls Club team and looks forward to continuing to be a head coach for the club.

Emily has her Bachelors and Masters in Social work and she currently works with children, youth and families within a school setting. Emily enjoys sharing her love of soccer with all!

In her spare time, she enjoys playing as much soccer as she can, hiking, swimming and biking!

Alex Matteo ‣

Alex grew up in Connecticut. Throughout her childhood soccer career she played for FSA FC and Oakwood Soccer Club. After high school, she went on to play soccer at Saint Michael's College. Alex started coaching for Far Post during the 2021-2022 season and is currently an assistant coach for the Academy Girls. In addition to coaching for Far Post, Alex is the coach of the Junior Varsity Girls soccer team at Champlain Valley Union High School.

Kevin Barber ‣

Kevin began his coaching career in the early 80's in San Diego coaching both high school and club levels. After graduating from San Diego State University he moved back to Vermont and began coaching for Mount Mansfield High School. Since then he has coached for a variety of teams including the Vermont Olympic Development Program. He is currently working at the Albert D. Lawton Intermediate School where teaches physical education and is the Athletic Director. He is also the Head Coach for the Girls' Varsity Soccer Team at Essex High School.

Colleen O'Brien ‣

Colleen O'Brien grew up in Massachusetts, playing soccer for my Medfield High School. She went on to play four years of Division III Soccer at Bates College. Colleen was two time All American in her junior and senior years. After colleges she went on to play soccer in Sweden, while living with a host family where she played for the 2nd Division, Balsta IF. She returned to the States and coached for the Women's Soccer program at UNH before moving west where she played and coached for club teams in Denver and Seattle. She returned east to play for the Boston Renegades, a womens league team, for two summers. Colleen has been in Vermont at the middle school level (2 year stint) and for Far Post for the last 14 years.

Macie Sicard ‣

Born in Colchester, VT, Macie grew up playing for Far Post from the age of 9. She also played for the Vermont Olympic Development Program team, Rice High School’s Varsity team, and New Hampshire’s Lightning Soccer Club with which she attended Super Y Nationals in Florida. As a goalkeeper, she finished her player career at Far Post undefeated with zero goals against in the VSA league.

Her senior year at Rice she received the 2015 Vermont Woman’s Sportsmanship Award and went on to play college soccer at Lasell College in Auburndale, MA. She has since returned to Vermont where she will finish receiving her degree in Business Administration at Champlain College.

Macie began coaching for Far Post in 2013. She will coach the U10 girls and help Asst. the Juniors’ Program.

Anna Krause ‣

Anna was raised in Middlebury, VT and attended Rice Memorial High School playing/managing soccer for the Green Knights.

She earned a B.S. in Marketing from Sacred Heart University while mentoring middle school girls and working as a teacher's assistant in the Bridgeport school district. In her senior year, she realized she had an interest in Sports Psychology and hoped to be a coach one day.

Anna returned to the Green Mountain State, where she began assisting with the U10 girls program at Far Post along with the girls soccer team at Rice Memorial High School. She is excited to be working with Phoebe and the 2011 GIrls Premier Team.

Michelle Brandon ‣

Michelle grew up in the Boston area and played for the Greater Boston Bolts. She came to Vermont to play for the UVM women's team and hasn't left Vermont since. Michelle has been involved with Far Post since 2008. She has worked with some of the most successful girls' teams in the club's history and also served as a Board Member for 6 years. Michelle is now back on the coaching side for the u8 and u10 girls that her daughters play on. In addition to coaching at Far Post, Michelle is also the Vice President of Client Services at Select, where she has worked for 15 years.

Noah Goss-Woliner ‣

Noah is originally from Waitsfield, VT, and grew up playing for Far Post, joining at the age of 9 and playing through the U18 level. He played for Harwood Union HS, where he won a state championship and was a two-time all-state selection. Noah captained the Harwood team for two years, as well as his Far Post team for five. Noah also played varsity hockey at Harwood, where he was an all-state selection and a two year captain.

After graduating high school, Noah attended Middlebury College where he studied Psychology. He was a four year starter with the Men’s Soccer Program and captained the squad his senior year. During this time, Noah also played abroad in New Zealand for Otago University AFC.

After leaving Middlebury, Noah has rejoined Far Post as a coach, where he has served as an assistant and head coach on both the boys and girls sides. In addition to coaching, he is in the process of pursuing his Master’s degree at the University of Vermont.

Mike Skelton ‣

Mike's first year with Far Post Soccer Club is the 2021-2022 season. Skelton is the UVM Women's Assistant and joined the Catamounts after a two-year stint at Niagara University in the same role. Skelton was involved in all aspects of the program at Niagara including individual player development, scouting reports, recruiting, video analysis and travel management. In his time with the Purple Eagles they were 11-11-2 and advanced to the MAAC Semifinals in 2019 and the MAAC Quarterfinals during the spring of 2021.

During his stint in Western New York Skelton was also the Head Coach of the 2009 and 2006 WNY Flash girls teams. Prior to Niagara, he served as an assistant coach at Colby College and UNC Asheville.

Skelton, a native of Conway, N.H., was an All-American soccer player at Lasell College in Newton, Mass. He served as team captain in three of his collegiate seasons and was named GNAC Player of the Year twice. He holds the Lasell College record for goals and points in a season and career goals and points. Following the completion of his collegiate career, Skelton spent time playing semi-professional soccer in England.

Evan Roleau ‣

Evan is from Burlington, VT where he grew up playing soccer for Nordic and the late futbal club Blackwatch FC. He attended Rice Memorial Highschool for 3 years, where he won 2 state championships, and spent one year at South Kent prep school where he was the co-captain of a nationally ranked team. Evan recently played for the University of Vermont soccer program for 5 years, helping the team to an American East Championship in 2021, as well as the 2022 NCAA Elite 8.

Evan has coached for VFA over the summers as well as running his own individual development sessions. Evan joined Farpost to give back to the local soccer community and stay connected to the game he loves.

Rory Twomey ‣

Rory is originally from Connecticut. He joined the Far Post staff in 2020.

Rory attended Saint Joseph’s College of Maine graduating in 2019, where he was a four-year starter and captain for the nationally ranked program. He received all-conference and All-New England region honors while helping the program to three conference championships and 3 NCAA tournament second round appearances. Rory also has semi-professional experience playing in the NPSL and the PDL.

After graduating, Rory began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Bridgton Academy, a post-graduate school in Bridgton, Maine before moving to Burlington. Currently he is the Director of Soccer Operations for the University of Vermont Men’s Soccer Team.

Pete Davis ‣

Pete Davis brings his extensive youth coaching background to FPSC this season, working as assistant coach for his son Skyler. Pete coached youth soccer for six years with the Jericho Underhill Youth Soccer (JUYS) program, focusing on skill development, game structure and sportsmanship. He coached the “Frosh” team at Mount Mansfield Union High School and was head coach for U12s in the Nordic Heritage program. Davis was named Soccer Program Director at the Stratton Mountain School, where he served as the boys varsity coach and oversaw practice and competition schedules for boys, girls varsity and JV teams at SMS. After 5 years at SMS, Davis returned to Jericho where he focused on alpine ski race coaching, attaining his USSA Level 200 certification. He has coached or directed alpine race programs for: Jay Peak, Smugglers’ Notch, Cochran Ski Club and GMVS. A passionate fan of the UVM Catamounts, Pete served the past two years as the in-stadium, public address announcer for UVM Men’s Varsity Home games at Virtue Field.
His coaching philosophy for the young athletes boils down to the acronym:
F. L. I. P.S. which stands for: F = Fun. It has to be a fun experience for the kids, or they will never grow to love the sport. L = Learn. It’s great when kids embrace learning about their sport. Rules, strategy, history, etc. I = Improve. Mastering skills is a great way to keep kids engaged, challenged and interested. P = Perform. Performing in all kinds of situations is a great skill to learn, in sports and life. S = Sportsmanship. The importance of being a good person and a great teammate are life skills that Pete hopes to instill in all the kids with whom he interacts. Pete earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the UVM Forestry School and is the owner / operator of Treerider, LLC. He lives in Jericho with his wife Caryn and their two dogs Brady and LuLu.

Huntyr Poulin ‣

Huntyr grew up in the area and played for Far Post for 6 years. She also played for Essex High School until she graduated in 2019. Currently she is a student at Merrimack College, majoring in Human Development and Human Services with a minor in education and psychology. Huntyr started coaching for Far Post before she even finished her playing career and really enjoys sharing her love of the game other Far Posters.

Kylie deGroot Spiegel ‣

Born in Charlotte, VT, Kylie grew up playing soccer with Far Post from U11 through U18. Her team won the Vermont State Cup in 2008 and 2009 and advanced to play Regionals in West Virginia. She also played on CVU's Varsity Team and earned awards as a First Team All-State player, and the sportsmanship award as a player on the Vermont Twin-State All-Star Team. As a captain her senior year her CVU team advanced to the finals of the state tournament. In high school Kylie also was a top Nordic ski racer and top tennis player in VT, leading her CVU tennis team to win 3 state championships. Kylie received the Top Female Student Athlete Award for CVU in 2010.

After graduating from CVU Kylie went on to play Division I soccer at the University of Vermont for 2 years. Her final 2 years at UVM she played on the club tennis and club soccer team as she pursued her degree in nutrition. Kylie began coaching Far Post in Fall of ’20 and is thrilled to be reconnected with the game, the Club, and so many familiar faces! In addition to coaching Kylie works as a professional fundraiser at the UVM Foundation.

Phoebe Martell-Crawford ‣

Phoebe is a native Vermonter. She spent her youth playing soccer and lacrosse and doing alpine skiing, nordic skiing and track and field. She played for Far Post from a young age and has always been an outstanding athlete. Phoebe graduated from Skidmore College where she majored in Environmental Studies. She was a key defender for the Thouroughbreds for all four years and graduated in 2019. Phoebe has worked at summer camps at Far Post since she was in high school and began coaching for the club in 2020.

Tess Weafer ‣

Tess grew up South of Boston, MA in Scituate. She began playing soccer at the age of 5 continuing on to play for a handful of clubs most notably South Shore Select and Mass Premier Soccer-winning a national championship in 2007 for the Cape Cod Lady Crusader. Tess started all four years for Scituate High School varsity soccer as a left defender. She was named first team all-star her junior and senior year, captain her senior year. Tess played collegiately at the University of Vermont from 2008-2011 with fellow coaches Emily Milbank and Kelsey Detwiler.

In addition to coaching, Tess works for Burlington Parks, Recreation and Waterfront and volunteers at the Chittenden Humane Society and loves participating in any outdoor activity

The Board of Directors

Learn How We Operate ▾

Far Post is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. As such, our club is overseen by a Board of Directors. Our board exists for the following reasons:

  • To steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound management, organizational and financial policies.
  • To assure that the club has adequate resources to advance its mission.
  • To oversee all club programs and activities to ensure that they are within the mission and values of the club.

The Far Post board is more than just a traditional board; it is a working board. All members spend time working on various subcommittees based on the critical needs of the clubs. Critical areas of importance for the board are:

  • Financial stability and fiscal responsibility
  • Facility (both indoors and outdoors) growth, improvement and development
  • Communication
  • Strategic planning
  • Executive and human resources support
  • Marketing and brand management

The Far Post board is primarily made up of parents of players within the club. When selecting new board members, Far Post is always looking to keep the board diverse and inclusive, but we are also looking for people who bring a certain expertise.
