Ray Campanile hails from the soccer rich environment of Long Island, New York. Having played half of his formative years for the Huntington Boy's Club (HBC), he went on to play his remaining youth soccer in New Hampshire for Nashua World Cup Soccer Club and New Hampshire Olympic Development Program. Campanile played his high school soccer at the Derryfield School in Manchester, NH, and split his collegiate time at the University of New Hampshire and Johnson State College.
Ray has spent time coaching at the High School level (Boy's Varsity at Harwood Union 01-04), at the college level (Green Mountain Men 05-08, Johnson State Men 09-12, and Johnson State Women 09-12), and at the Club level with Far Post for the last decade plus. Campanile has also spent time as the Sports Information Director, Assistant Athletic Director, and Athletic Director at Green Mountain College, the Director of Event Management at Johnson State College, the Boy's Director and Director of Player Development at the Far Post Soccer Club, the President and co-founder of the Vermont Amateur Soccer League, and Vice-President at the Vermont Soccer Association.
Ray holds his NSCAA National, Advanced National and Premier Coaching Diplomas, the NSCAA's goalkeeping State, Regional and National Diplomas, along with the USSF's National "D" and "C" Licenses. Campanile has also earned a Master of Education Diploma from Johnson State College.
Ray lives in Jericho, VT with his family.
